They may have a commitment or family emergency that consumes most of their time.
In the case of a pending storm, they’ll be too busy with their preparations to think about your home’s needs.
After a storm, they might be consumed with repairing their property damage and neglect to examine your home. Any damage left unattended on your property could end in a much bigger and costlier problem to repair later on .
The extra responsibility of your home, may be more than they anticipated, and that they may either neglect their responsibility or not perform it properly.
Ultimately, it’ll probably end in the relationship and or friendship you once enjoyed as neighbors.

What Can You Expect From A Reputable House Sitting Company?
Depending on your Personalized Agreement with Andrews Ark these are some of the roles we will fulfill while you are away:
We will perform basic housecleaning duties and water your indoor plants, and collect your mail and Newspapers.
In addition….
We will turn Lights on and off inside and outside.
Report any suspicious activity occurring around or outside of your property
Inspect your utilities, such as plumbing and air-conditioning, to detect problems requiring service and repairs and alert you right away. Clean the filters when necessary.
Take out garbage/recycling bins and bring them back in.
Check the thermostat and smoke detectors, arranging for repair if needed.
Open windows and shutters to allow light and airflow into the home, shutting them securely when we leave.
Observe for any pest or insect infestations, contacting pest control when necessary.
Charge your car and or golf cart regularly.
Communicate with the homeowner after every visit, either by email or telephone or text message (if requested).
